The Belgian retailer chain Delhaize is composed of over 800 shops in the world, 600 deliveries per day, and 1,600 people – 10% of total staff – assigned to logistics. Stocks are managed by Aldata’s solutions.
The G.O.L.D. User Association is an independent association which enjoys a privileged relationship with Aldata. It has three workgroups, including the logistics group which is always combining theory with practice. That’s why thirty people, representing around fifteen retail companies, came to visit the Delhaize warehouse.
The HBC - Health and Beauty Care - warehouse is managed by a DPS, a Dynamic Picking System, supervised by Aldata's solutions. Preparation time is reduced by between 50 to 100% and the total gain in productivity is between 10 and 15%.
